Barriers Non Perform an Pap Smear Test in Women

Abstract

Implementing Pap smear test is an appropriate method to prevent and/or decrease fatalities of cervical cancer. The aim of this study is the reasons for non-participation of women in implementing screening tests. This sectional-descriptive study was performed with consecutive sampling on 230 women who referred to health centers in Jiroft and had health records. Data collecting tool was the questionnaire having personal-social information and some information about the reasons for not doing cervical cancer screening by Pap smear method. The data were analyzed in SPSS software version 18.
