Abstract

Women with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) are at risk of adverse obstetric and perinatal outcome. The association between GDM and socioeconomic status is not well established. The purpose of this study is to find the association between socioeconomic factors and GDM.

Introduction

Gestational diabetes mellitus (G4DM) is defined as any degree of glucose intolerance with the onset or first recognition during pregnancy with or without remission after the end of pregnancy.
